Role Purpose
As the Business Development Manager (NGS Lab Partnership & Market Penetration), you will play a key role in establishing and growing our presence in Greater Bay Area (GBA) by setting up lab operations and developing strategic partnerships. You will focus on identifying lab partners, establishing sales channels, and driving market penetration for our products. Your efforts will be pivotal in ensuring the successful entry and growth of our brand in the region.
Key Accountabilities
- Identify, negotiate, and establish partnerships with NGS lab operators and partners to set up the NGS lab operations in GBA.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to establish distribution channels and penetrate the local market effectively.
- Collaborate with the product development and marketing teams to align business
development initiatives with overall company goals. - Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, healthcare professionals, and local partners to enhance brand presence and drive growth.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for expansion and differentiation.
- Provide insights and reports to the management team on progress, challenges, and growth opportunities.
Key Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Medical Technology, Pharmacy, Business, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the NGS Laboratory, molecular biotechnology, healthcare or medical device industry.
- Experience in lab operations setup and establishing strategic partnerships is highly desirable.
- Strong network within the healthcare and laboratory sectors in GBA is a plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Mandarin; proficiency in English is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
- Result-driven with a proactive attitude and business acumen.
