Truong Dieu Le

Le joined Mekong since 2003, as a Research Assistant in the investment team. She participated in the process of making investments and post-investment of three investments in MEF, Mekong’s first fund. Le was a Deal Leader who led the investment into Duc Thanh Wood Processing company, and the post-investment work until 2007. During this period, in addition to the Deal Leader role, Le was the first member in charge for implementing the talent recruiting initiative for investee companies, which later on became a big part of our funds’ post-investment value-added work.

From 2007 until now, upon the company’s transformation, Le transitioned to oversee the middle office and back office of Mekong Capital, including Investor Relations, Communications, Finance, Talent & Culture (recently expanding to also include Talent Acquisition – recruiting talents for investee companies and Mekong), Executive Assistants, Office Admin and IT.

Le became the first Partner of Operations of Mekong in 2016, upon her value-added sharing workshops for several investees companies in Effective Communication and other tools for a breakthrough in performance. Le also leads vision creation sessions at some investee companies, to facilitate for the senior leadership team to generate a new vision and pathway to achieve their vision. Companies that Le directly worked with in some projects, including MobileWorld, F88, LiveSpo, Mutosi, HSV, ABA, Nhat Tin, RedWok, Marou, Pharmacity, and Vua Nem. In addition, Le is in charge of working with the investee companies in Core Values & Culture, as well as Transformation & Leadership.

Le’s personal transformation during her more-than-twenty-year journey in Mekong inspired her to live a life of enabling transformation and leadership in others. Under Le’s leadership, the middle office and back office are the backbone of Mekong Capital, and leaders are built from within to enable reliable performance. Le is a Management Committee member of Mekong Capital.
